Value Programs - Overseas Study

NUS has many international programs that provide myriad of opportunities for overseas learning. Throughout the academic year, the School, sometimes in conjunction with other institutions, also organizes other study programmes (mainly overseas).

These programmes are generally of a shorter duration, enabling BBA students to broaden their outlook and to develop an awareness and appreciation of other cultures and other approaches to doing business, without too much discruption to studies in NUS.

Study programmes of this nature had included or will include:

• American Society and Business Study Program (at Stanford University)
• China Study Tour
• Hong Kong Study Tour - Biz Abroad Hong Kong
• Philippines Service-Learning Tour
• Indonesia Study Tour
• Visit to Mr Warren Buffett in Omaha, Nebraska, U. S. A.
• NUS-Tsinghua University Joint Study Trip

BBA students are very much encouraged to initiate or propose study tours for BBA Office to consider for support.

Students also have some opportunities to participate in overseas conferences and case competitions.
