Internships

All BBA students are strongly encouraged to participate in internships to get a glimpse of work the real environment before graduation, and also effectively apply their classroom concepts. Completing an internship is not a compulsory requirement for students, but most in NUS Business School choose to embark on at least 1 stint during their tenure here. BBA Accounting students however have a separate compulsory internship program where they will be attached to one of the 4 major accounting firms in Singapore, namely: Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PriceWaterHouse Coopers. 

Internships usually last for the duration of both the 6 week mid-year December vacation or 12 week summer vacation from May to August. Stints that overlap with normal school term are available as well for students who wish to work and study simultaneously. On top of the internships sourced by the Office, students are also free to source on their own, so maximum flexibility and customization is offered.

Our students are generally highly proactive in participating in the internship program. For this summer vacation of May to August 2007, 75% of our students have embarked on internships, both local and overseas.
